Since the beginning of his career (as 1990 graduate of Paris’ ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Paris Design Institute), Jean-Marie Massaud has been working on an extensive range of works, stretching from architecture to objects, from one-off project to serial ones, from macro environment down to micro contexts. Major brands such as Air France, Axor, Cassina, PoltronaFrau, MDF Italia or Toyota have solicited his ability to mix comfort and elegance, zeitgeist and heritage, generosity and distinction.
Beyond these elegant designs (from stadium, flying hotel, concept car to art table and furniture collections) his quest for lightness – in matters of essence – synthesize three broader stakes: individual and collective fulfillment, economic and industrial efficiency, and environmental concerns. His creations, whether speculative or pragmatic, explore this imperative paradigm: reconciling pleasure with responsibility, the individual with the collective.
COLOMBO DESIGN STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP WITH CESANA
Colombo Design and Cesana continue on their development path by strengthening the strategic
partnership that already links the two companies from 2014 for the production and marketing of
shower boxes in Italy and on all the main foreign markets. Colombo Design has acquired a
corporate participation of Cesana srl, supporting the founding partners in the management of the
company and giving modern production and logistics help, one of the most modern and efficient in
the sector at a European level. Important news that will follow in the coming months. The
production of the shower enclosures will be integrated into the production unit of Terno d'Isola
(BG) starting from the month of September. The commercial and distribution structure will be
strengthened and supported thanks to the physical opening of a prestigious exhibition space in Via
Solferino 18 in Milan. The investments foreseen for the development of products are also
significant and only few will be part of the exhibition at the Salone del Bagno 2018 stand.
