Patrick Jouin


Born in 1967, Patrick Jouin is a designer graduated from the École nationale supérieure de créationindustrialle. He has worked on exceptional projects for Pedrali, FIAM, Cassina, Alki, Leucos, Alessi, Puiforcat, JCDecaux and Fermob. His style, his perception of craftsmanship and design can be found in all of his projects, from editorial design to street furniture for future Grand Paris Express stations.

The career of Patrick Jouin and his design agency, Patrick Jouin iD, was recognized by a monographic exhibition at the Center Pompidou in 2009 and awarded the Compasso d’Oro for PastaPot Alessi. Several of his creations have become part of museums’ permanent collections, most notably MOMA’s “Solid” collection, which in 2004 was the first series of 1:1 scale furniture produced with 3D printing technologies.
